Rebecca Yanisch,
a principal of KeyStone Search, has over 25 years of senior leadership experience, the last
four years focusing in executive search. Rebecca's experience spans both the public and private sectors, having served as
commissioner of the Minnesota Department Trade and Economic Development, executive director of the Minneapolis Community
Development Agency and owning a public finance consulting firm. Rebecca's executive search experience includes extensive
work in the healthcare, non-profit and services industries. Her experience as a public servant gives her added
knowledge in the manufacturing, retail and real estate/construction industries.. Having led or worked with a multitude
of organizations over her career has made Rebecca keenly aware of the importance of "fit" to an organization's success.
Growing up in Northwestern Minnesota, Rebecca attended college at the University of North Dakota, graduating
Summa Cum Laude with a degree in finance. She moved to Minneapolis in 1978 and received her Master's in Business Administration
from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management.
Rebecca and her husband, Steve, live in downtown Minneapolis. Their only daughter, Sara, has provided four
beautiful grandchildren. In addition to spoiling her grandkids, Rebecca enjoys golf, gardening, reading and her many volunteer
activities. She is a member of the Minnesota Women's Economic Roundtable, the Economic Development Association of Minnesota
and the International Women's Forum and serves on the board of Artspace Projects, the Minnesota Women's Campaign Fund and the
Jeremiah Program. In 1999 Rebecca was voted one of the Most Influential Women in Business in Minnesota.
